About Space Jumper 2
Space Jumper 2 is the sequel to my zero-gravity platformer. It keeps the core jump-and-climb loop while adding more platforms, longer levels, and new mechanics to keep things from getting stale.
If the first game was a single clean idea, this one is that idea with more room to stretch: the level design asks more of you, and there is more variety in how you get from bottom to top. Like the original, it is a Unity WebGL build that runs in the browser through WebAssembly with nothing to install. Building a sequel to my own prototype was a useful exercise in restraint.
The temptation with a follow-up is to bolt on everything you can think of, but the first game worked because it was simple, so the goal here was to add just enough new material to justify a second entry. The zero-gravity physics still define everything, so plan your jumps and respect the momentum. If you have not played the first Space Jumper yet, start there to learn the feel.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I play Space Jumper 2?
Move with the arrow keys or WASD and press Space to jump. The zero-gravity physics mean you float and cannot change direction much mid-air, so plan each jump and respect the momentum. Climb through the expanded levels for a high score.
Do I need to play the first Space Jumper first?
No, but it helps. The original Space Jumper teaches the zero-gravity jump feel with a simpler layout, while Space Jumper 2 adds more platforms and new mechanics. Both are free in the browser.
