About FPS Test: Unity Arena Shooter

FPS Test is exactly what the name says: a stripped-down arena first-person shooter I built in Unity to prototype core mechanics. There is no story and no win condition, just a space to move through and shoot in.

It exists to prove out the fundamentals, movement, aiming, and hit registration, without any of the systems a finished game would layer on top. I am leaving it up because prototypes are useful to look at honestly. This is the skeleton that games like Zombie Town get built on, and seeing the bare version makes it clearer what actually goes into a shooter once you add enemies, weapons, levels, and feedback.

It is a Unity WebGL build, so it compiles to WebAssembly and runs directly in the browser with no install. Treat it as a sandbox rather than a challenge: walk the space, test the shooting, and get a feel for how the controls respond. If you want the same mechanics wrapped in an actual game with enemies and waves, try Zombie Town in the arcade instead.
